You must be very famous when a scientist names a rare species after you. However, it must be remain foreseen whether Beyoncé, the famous person in question who receives this honour, will be very pleased: the specific specie is a horsefly. It must be said that this is not a normal horsefly but one who lookes very similar to Beyoncé, especially the legs and behind did the scientist directly think of Beyoncé in a golden costume.
Probably Beyoncé has registered her name as a trademark, would Beyoncé be able to object this name? This is an interesting question and depends largely on the local trademark laws as being a horsefly will not be regarded as using your name commercially (like a trademark). MarkMatters.com thinks that it will be difficult to proof that the name of the fly will be detriment to Beyoncé. Probably it will be quicker for Beyoncé to exterminate this rare fly with some doom spray then proceeding into the courts.
