We often post about logo restyling. Brands that restyle their trademark, for whatever reason: evolution, revolution or just a fresh new identity. But how about super heroes?
Superheroes you say? Yes. They have brands. Hey, they are brands. Superman has super strength, Spiderman has spider senses and Aquaman is best friends with water.
Batman is the odd one out here. He is Bruce Wayne, a millionaire in a suit. Doing good things, fighting crime. And a superhero needs a great name, a great suit (preferably with a cape) and a trademark. In this case, a bat.
This hasn’t been the same bat for all these years. The ‘Batsign’ also evolved over time. But it will always remain recognizable. It is and will be: a bat.
