Don't confuse the moose

Moosehead, a Canadian beer company, has started a trademark infringement suit against Moose Wizz, a soda produced by Adirondack Pub & Brewery.
Moosehead has used the ‘Moosehead’ trademark since 1931 in connection with ale, beer, stout, porter and lager. After it noticed the Moose Wizz product, it filed for trademark infringement, claiming that the logos on both products were confusingly similar.
Both logos feature a moose head. Admittedly, the Moosehead logo is a more life-like that the ‘cartoony’ moose by Moose Wizz. The Canadian brewery asks 8.800 dollars in damages.
It’s now up to the US Federal to decide about the moose confusion. Isn’t the life of an IP court judge just amazing?
