Feyoncé put a ring on it

beyonceArtist Beyoncé is suing Feyoncé Inc, for selling T-shirts, hoodies, tank tops and other clothing items, and engagement mugs bearing de word “Feyoncé”. The merchandise is also bearing the famous lines “He put a ring on it” from her most popular song “Single Ladies”.
Beyoncé claims the name “Feyoncé” (of course derived from the word fiancé) is confusingly similar to her registered mark “Beyoncé”. The American singer has registered her name for a variety of merchandise.
Beyoncé is suing for willful trademark infringement, unfair competition and trademark.
The case seems very clear cut, but in court… you never know.
