No, this is not the beginning of a poem. It is the cleverly marketed slogan of a landowner who refuses to sell his ground to Manchester City for a pittance. His ground is now surrounded by Manchester City property. Manchester City has plans to build an expensive training facility on the spot.
In order to avoid that the government forces him to sell his ground to Manchester City he launched the website Unite against City and sells his ground per m2 to anyone with a red heart (a Manchester United heart). Instead of one owner his ground will be divided into thousands owners. Of course, many United fans are determined to block Manchester City.
For many, except City fans, a funny story. There is an interesting trademark aspect as well to this story as the website clearly shows a part of the bird of the Manchester City logo killed of stabbed by the fork of the Manchester United devil. Could this use be considered as detrimental to the trademark of Manchester?
