We plunge in the world of cocktails. Everybody knows the famous cocktails with names often as beautiful as the drink itself. This certainly not applies to the latest trendy cocktail in Chicago: the OxyContin.
This name refers to the trademark OxyContin which contains the substance Oxycodone and belongs to a group of morphine-like medicines. It is a narcotic analgesic for relief of moderate to severe pain. Pretty strange name for a cocktail that only includes lapsang suchong tea infusion, ginger syrup, lemon juice and honey!
The proprietor of the OxyContin trademark is not amused with the name of the popular cocktail. This company has already announced that it will act against unauthorized use of its trademark.
