Not so jolly

Jollibee Foods Corporation (JFC) is taking legal action against a restaurant in Guangxi, China for trademark infringement after a Facebook post showing the restaurant’s “JoyRulBee” logo went viral.

“Our legal team has been taking the necessary steps in order to protect and uphold our company’s trademark rights as what is provided for under the law,” the fast-food company stated.

JFC said JoyRulBee has the same color and logo as Jollibee’s. The Jollibee brand is known for its colors of red and yellow, and its bee mascot wearing a white hat.
