In Chicago you take Santa’s Polar Express during Christmas. This name refers to the popular novel about the magical train that brings children all the way up to the North Pole to see Santa Claus. This name also refers to the movie of Warner Brothers about this book. Obviously Warner Brothers has registered the trademark.
Warner Bros has now objected to the name of the train trips. The organizer will not dispute the claim and will change the name. But the emotion is visible (quoting an other different Christmas novel) “”this is Scrooge in action not letting the kids have the polar express trip.”
