It is a trend lately: popular bands of the nineties come back for a reunion tour. As a music fan this is something great, at least to have a trip down Memory lane. Recent years we saw Pavement, Soundgarden and last year Stone Temple Pilots announced a tour.
This tour has already been cancelled. Scott Weiland, the lead singer, has been fired by the other band members after he showed up two hours late during concerts and frustrated new tour schedules. The other band members have even filed a lawsuit against Weiland claiming trademark infringement when they heard of the solo tour of Weiland. Weiland announced a tour called Purple at the Core (a reference to the most successful albums) and called himself the former singer of the Stone Temple Pilots.
Weiland responds with its own lawsuit, accusing the remaining members of trademark infringement. Well, we assume that the true fan will have to wait a bit longer for the reunion tour with all band members.
