So you have Oreo cookies, right? Which are great. What if you want to have the same success as the famous black and white cookie?

Many big supermarkets do this: take one of the A-brands and design the packaging (and sometimes even the brand name) so that is resembles the A-brand.

Over the years supermarkets have become better and better at this: walking the fine line between using similar packaging and trademark and/or copyright infringement.

But sometimes they cross the line. To the dark side. Where the trademark attorneys live. And hunt. For infringement like this ‘Borneo’ cookie, that… well, let’s just say ‘resembles’ the Oreo cookie and packaging.

Let’s see how long this will stay on the shelves.
