After all Ikea’s, villages and cars that have been copied by the Chinese, you would think that they had it all. But no, they found something new: a whole themepark!
The latest themepark World Joyland in China is, let’s call it “inspired” by the computer game World of Warcraft. The names of the attractions such as “Splash of Monster Blood” to the figures themselves, everything is a (poor) copy of the original.
An other part of the themepark World Joyland is called Universe or Spaceship and inspired by Starcraft, an different multiplayer game that is very popular in Asia.
It remains to be seen whether this themapark will lead again to a hot copy subject in the media, like the fake Ikea stores did. But again it is confirmed that copying is something quite normal in China, just as normal as eating noodles.
